Newark Neighbours gratefully accepts donations online, or by cheque. All donations support provision of services to residents of the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Monetary donations of $25 or more will receive a tax receipt.  For more information, please contact us.    

 

DONATE FOOD & HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS

We welcome donations of non-perishable food, and essential household items. Please bring them to our Thrift Shop during open hours.

ALWAYS NEEDED...

FOOD

  • Applesauce

  • Beans - baked and other canned varieties

  • Beef stew/chilli - canned

  • Cereal or oatmeal - any kind

  • Chicken/turkey/ham flakes

  • Chilli/spaghetti/ravioli - canned

  • Chunky or Habitant soups - canned

  • Coffee - instant. Regular or decaf

  • Condiments - salad dressings, mayo, dried spices, sauces (HP, soy, Worcestershire etc.), salt and pepper

  • Cookies

  • Corn - canned

  • Crackers - soda (soup) or snack

  • Fruit - canned

  • Granola bars

  • Ham/corned beef/Spam - canned

  • Jams - any flavour

  • Juice - bottled, any flavour

  • Milk - shelf stable (condensed, powdered, rice, etc.)

  • Potatoes - canned or instant mashed

  • Pudding cups - any flavour

  • Rice

  • Salmon - canned

  • Sidekicks, Ramen soup packets

  • Tea Bags 

  • Tomato Sauce

  • Tomatoes - canned

  • Vegetables - canned (peas, carrots etc.)

  • Dish soap, laundry detergent/conditioner, cleaning products

  • Paper towels

  • Toilet Paper

  • Toiletries - soap, shampoo/conditioner, deodorants, toothpaste/toothbrushes, razors/shaving foam, hand/body lotion, mouthwash, feminine products etc.
